Do you know which is the number #1 fear reported by people all around the globe? It is public speaking!

Challenge yourself to learn more about communications and leadership in a fun and exciting environment! Come join us to develop and improve your speaking and leadership skills in a friendly, safe atmosphere! Our members are a lively group of people diverse by age, career, and cultural background!

We meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. We typically have ~20 members at each meeting, and we offer 5-7 extra seats for guests that register in advance (see instructions bellow).

# RULES TO JOIN THE MEETING AS A GUEST#

> We do *NOT* use Meetup to manage participants.

> There is a waiting list for each meeting. To participate you *MUST* send an e-mail with your full name to voe.toastmasters@gmail.com or write us to our Instagram Account @vilaolimpiatoastmasters and wait for us to share the instructions for your access.

> We encourage you to reach out in advance if you are interested in joining our meeting, and no later than 48h prior to the meeting date.

# WHAT TO EXPECT

At each meeting, 2-3 speeches will be delivered. There is also a session for impromptu speeches, where attendees can practice giving extemporaneous speeches. At the end of the meeting, each speaker will be given a full evaluation, pointing out areas of excellence and areas for improvement. Before closing, everyone else who spoke will be given feedback on grammar, timing and more. The best speakers will receive prizes!
