Great amount of information and topics covered. The only downside really was the complex end project felt rather rushed.

This is the best course I have ever taken in my life. In only 2 or 3 months of fulltime studying I finished 90% of the course and at that point I had already learned enough to find a job as front-end developer. Great lessons. Great coding exercises and projects. I’m even considering to finish the last sections one day just because it is a great course. In my job I work with WordPress, Vue and Nuxt, but still it was very useful to learn React since it is similar to other JS frameworks. Many thanks for this course that literally changed my life/career!

So far, thorough coverage of CSS at a good pace – not too quick and the minor digressions are informative.

THEN came the JavaScript. Very thorough, but I feel it was a bit too rushed.

I like having to research elsewhere to figure out answers to quiz questions and don’t want thing just handed to me, but this was a bit too much.

    Definitely learning a lot though.

Might have to cancel some other courses – this one has everything I think I need.

Course is out-of-date. Many exercises are broken or need to be updated to work properly. Instructors rush through lectures and don’t give enough insight or detail.

I’ve really enjoyed some of Colt’s other material, but I couldn’t be more disappointed with this course. The other instructors Colt brings on aren’t as good as him, and most of the time they just read off a powerpoint with minimal explanation of what they’re doing and why they’re doing it.

I might be able to forgive a few boring lectures, but some of the projects here are sorely out of date, and will require a lot of extra setup and workarounds on your end to get things working, which is time you could be spending to learn the material.

TLDR: Meh instruction, extremely out of date. Look elsewhere.

The course is outdated. The last update was in April 2018. The instructors don’t respond to any questions in the Q&A section. The content itself is good, just would be nice if it were updated.

Except for Colt’s section, all the instructors’ sections seem very rushed with not much explanations. It’s difficult to follow along. Colt’s section in the course is great. Everything is explained in a way that’s easy to understand and follow along.
